BLINDNESS
I fall into a strange luminous blindness,
A star, almost a soul, has hidden life from me.
Has it been caught in me like a brilliant butterfly,
Or in its halo of light have I been seized?
I know not…
Rare blindness that erases the world,
Star, almost a soul, with which I rise or I fall:
Give me your light and forever veil my world!
